I have read a number of reviews on the new BlackBerry Storm compared to the Apple iPhone, and they all forget the most important and valuable part of having the iPhone - the AppStore!
Without the App Store, the iPhone is still better than the other SmartPhones ( including the BlackBerry Storm ), but it is the App Store that makes the iPhone truly valuable. The fact that I can easily download games and applications easily from a central location, complete with notifications of future updates, makes the iPhone incredible! The reviewers have seem to forget this most important fact.
The other thing that seems like a huge mistake with the BlackBerry Storm is that it does not have Wifi! WTF? This is another incredible feature of the iPhone. The fact that I can get wonderful Wifi Access with the iPhone at the home and at a number of places that I frequent is another one of the great features of the iPhone! You would be amazed at how wonderful and valuable it is to have Wifi Access.
If you are stuck with your carrier and you can't move to the iPhone and AT&T Network, the BlackBerry Storm is an option. However, let's be real, it ain't the iPhone with its wonderful App Store and Wifi Access. Even if I was stuck with Verizon, I would keep my old phone and get an iPod Touch!
